SENIOR ACCOUNTANT (F&B / MANUFACTURING)

A leading and fast-growing Food Manufacturing Company is seeking a detail-oriented, highly analytical, and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team and contribute to maintaining financial integrity and operational efficiency.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee daily accounting operations, general ledger entries, and monthly/yearly financial closing.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss (P&L) reports.
• Monitor and control manufacturing costs, raw material inventory, WIP, and finished goods valuation.
• Perform variance analysis between actual cost and standard cost across production lines.
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), bank reconciliations, and cash flow operations.
• Ensure full compliance with Egyptian tax regulations (VAT, Income Tax, Withholding Tax, E-Invoicing).
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and financial authorities.
• Assist in budget preparation, financial forecasting, and cost optimization initiatives.
• Supervise and mentor junior accountants within the team.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5–7 years of accounting experience, with at least 3+ years in a Food Manufacturing / Industrial Sector.
• Strong understanding of Manufacturing Cost Accounting (Costing), inventory control, and supply chain finance.
• Deep knowledge of Egyptian Tax Laws and the E-Invoicing System ( Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., Odoo, SAP, Oracle) and Advanced MS Excel.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and high accuracy in financial reporting.
