Your tasks

Reporting to the Research & Development Manager of Meca-Inox Europe, you will design and develop new products, technologies, and technical solutions. You will also contribute to the optimization of existing products to improve their performance, reliability, and environmental impact, in compliance with the PED. Do you wish to lead end-to-end design projects and contribute directly to the innovation of demanding industrial products? Join a human-sized R&D team where your mechanical expertise, autonomy, and ideas will have a concrete impact.

  • Take charge of the design, development, and definition of products while respecting cost, quality, and deadline objectives.
  • Ensure the compliance of designs with regulatory requirements as well as internal quality and traceability standards.
  • Develop new technical solutions to optimize existing products or to innovate.
  • Perform functional analyses, technical specifications, and technical risk analyses (AMDEC).
  • Perform functional dimensioning chains, strength of materials sizing calculations, and finite element simulations.
  • Define and monitor the production of prototypes, internally or externally, and the test plans necessary to control design risks and validate performance, then ensure the monitoring, analysis, and reporting of results.
  • Compile definition and justification files, and present work progress during design reviews and project milestones.
  • Maintain a watch on technologies, materials, and processes, and contribute to exchanges with partners and external technical bodies.
  • Engineer or Master's degree (Bac+5) in mechanical design, mechanical engineering, or an equivalent field with proven experience in the design of pressure equipment, ideally in industrial valves.
  • Proficiency in a parametric 3D CAD software, ideally PTC Creo, as well as a PLM tool.
  • Proficiency in a finite element simulation tool and ISO GPS functional dimensioning.
  • Knowledge of metallic and polymer materials, fluid mechanics, and the frameworks associated with the PED.
  • Occasional travel to partners, laboratories, or technical bodies may be required.
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken, is essential.

Requirements

Your analytical and synthesis skills, your rigor, and your technical curiosity allow you to approach complex issues methodically. Autonomous and organized, you know how to take responsibility and coordinate your activities. Your sense of teamwork, your interpersonal skills, and your ability to unite others around the selected technical solutions make you the ideal candidate for this position.
