Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair a variety of complex powder processing, blending and high-speed packaging equipment.
• Repair and install various equipment, guards and piping using lifting devices if required.
• Perform PM’s and work orders as well as project work.
• Disassembly, diagnosis, repairs and re-assembly of machinery to hygienic and sanitary standards.
• Participate in the development of a Predictive Maintenance program at Tuas.
• Complete all necessary reports and documentation via hardcopy and computer.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary environment in accordance to all safety and GMP policies.
• Be able to use independent judgment and work well within a team concept.
• Interact with internal and external customers in a professional manner.
• Follow all cGMP requirements to ensure proper manufacturing environment.
• Actively participate in the resolution and elimination of downtime issues.
• Assist in the creation of SOP’s, checklist, and work instructions.
• Provide training and guidance to new employees.
• Complete all necessary transactions, reports and documentation with accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary environment to 5S or similar standard.

Requirements:

• Nitec/Higher Nitec/Diploma in Mechatronics equivalent qualifications.
• At least 3 years of industrial mechanical maintenance experience.
• Proficiency in SAP and Ms Office is a must.
• Familiar with predictive and preventative maintenance technologies.
• Previous experience in a food or pharma manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Willing to work in Tuas (company transport provided at various MRT station).
