medical clinic assistant

• Assist physician with procedures,

• Answer incoming calls and file incoming faxes,

• Maintain room supplies and advise clinic manager of any shortage,

• Ensure exam rooms are clean before and after use,
• Autoclave and sterilization of non disposable supplies,

• Responsible for tasks given by physician(s) and manager on the same day,

• Calling patients to the exam rooms, check vital signs (temperature, oxygen saturation, Blood pressure), height, and weight if appropriate or instructed by the physician,

• Clean rooms and remove garbage at the end of each shift,

• Perform short listed labs and provide results to physicians and record in the patient?s chart,

• Contact patients regarding their appointments, physician instructions, urgent results and so on as per the physician?s request,
• Input patients information in surgical booking software and notify patients of surgical booking,
• Input billing tariffs and time of service in EMR,

• Ensure and maintain quiet and peaceful environments during work hours for all patients and other staff,

• Clean and stock staff room as scheduled by the clinic manager.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
