Your tasks
Job Responsibilities
- Focuses on routine services like doctor visits, emergency room visits, and outpatient surgeries.
- Uses ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS Level II code sets.
- Deals with high volumes of charts requiring quick, accurate turnaround
- Reviews complex medical records for patients admitted to the hospital.
- Utilizes ICD-10-CM for diagnoses and ICD-10-PCS for inpatient procedures.
- Assigns Diagnostic Related Groups (DRGs) to ensure accurate hospital reimbursement.
