Occupational Therapist – Locum & Permanent

Locum: Up to $75/hour | Flexible Hours Permanent: Up to $6,500/month | Monday–Friday

Our client is seeking qualified Occupational Therapists for both Locum and Permanent positions .

This is a meaningful opportunity for Occupational Therapists who enjoy working with seniors and want to make a difference beyond traditional clinical care, supporting residents to maintain their independence, functional abilities and quality of life.

Working Location: Islandwide opportunities available

Working Hours: Locum: Flexible working hours Permanent: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:30pm

Responsibilities

• Assess residents’ functional abilities and occupational performance.
• Plan and implement individualised occupational therapy treatment and rehabilitation programmes.
• Develop appropriate rehabilitation goals based on residents’ needs and abilities.
• Monitor residents’ progress and modify intervention plans accordingly.
• Support residents in improving or maintaining independence in activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Recommend appropriate adaptive equipment, assistive devices and environmental modifications where required.
• Educate residents, caregivers and nursing staff on safe techniques and strategies to support independence.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and progress records.
• Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide holistic resident care.

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Occupational Therapy recognized by the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) .
• Possess a valid AHPC Practicing Certificate with Full Registration .
• Prior experience in geriatrics, rehabilitation or community care settings is advantageous.
• For Locum positions, candidates should be able to commit to the required assignment schedule.
