Golf Course Maintenance Associate | East | Up to $2,200++
We are looking for a hands-on and reliable Golf Course Maintenance Associate to support the upkeep and maintenance of golf course grounds.
This role is suitable for candidates with experience in landscaping, grounds maintenance, horticulture or golf course maintenance . Training will be provided for specialised equipment and heavy machinery.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out daily golf course and grounds maintenance duties
- Perform mowing, trimming, edging and general turf maintenance
- Apply fertilisers and other approved chemicals as required
- Operate maintenance equipment such as mowers, trimmers and tractors
- Use basic hand tools and light handheld machinery
- Ensure equipment is operated safely and properly maintained
- Ensure proper handling and storage of equipment, fertilisers and chemicals
- Maintain the overall cleanliness and condition of assigned areas
- Perform other maintenance duties as assigned by the Senior Course Superintendent
Requirements
- Preferably with experience in golf course, landscaping, horticulture or grounds maintenance
- Experience in fertiliser and chemical application would be advantageous
- Familiar with basic hand tools and light handheld machinery
- Physically fit and comfortable performing outdoor work
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Willing to work early morning shifts, weekends and public holidays
- Training will be provided for specialised equipment and heavy machinery
Working Hours
Monday: 6.30am – 3.45pm Tuesday to Friday: 6.30am – 2.45pm Saturday or Sunday: 6.30am – 12.15pm
