AI Transformation Manager
Your tasks
THE OBJECTIVE The AI Transformation Manager owns the group's AI adoption and transformation agenda in the Singapore office, with a mandate from the Managing Director.
You will lead the office's AI-enabled transformation full time: half change management and acculturation, half business analysis andproject management, with full ownership of the office's AI consumption.
The ambition: move from individual AI use to optimised processes, shared across offices.
THE WORK Spot local opportunities. Look at how the business unit works and identify where AI can remove friction, save time or improve quality, surfacing both practical use cases and pain points worth escalating. Structuring AI projects may also be shared with the Group AI team, to get their support from a technical perspective (advice if local resources are available, or full development).
Coach and acculturate colleagues. Help colleagues, and above all, those who are not technical, understand what generative AI is and how to use it in their daily work, and build their confidence, by pointing them to the right resources, encouraging practice and creating light opportunities to learn together locally.
Surface field feedback. Feed usage, needs, friction and learning gaps back to the Group AI Transformation and L&D teams, so that local reality shapes what is built and prioritised centrally.
Lead the local transformation agenda. Drive process optimisation and automation across the office's business units, prioritise use cases with the Managing Director, and deploy them with the GroupAI team and the local AI Explorers.
Contribute to shared group processes. Identify where processes proven in the office can become group standards, and adopt standards proven elsewhere, so that all of mci group benefits from advances made by any one office.
Own, allocate and control AI consumption. Own the office's token and pay-per-use AI costs within the Group governance framework, run the request and approval process, report consumption against productivity and business value, and prepare the office's consumption estimate for budgeting.
Activate the toolbox. Select two to three initiatives per semester from the curated catalogue (local training, office hours, process analysis, use-case co-development with the AIteam) that will have a real impact in the office, and report back on outcomes. Support the local application of global AI and L&D content, withoutcreating unnecessary additional content .
Animate the local community. Lead the office's AI Champions community and play an active role in the AITransformation Managers network (bi-weekly calls and in-person gatherings),taking part in the community's own agenda rather than relying on central drive.
Adoption, not development. Drive change management and adoption within the office; the Transformation Manager is not expected to build technical solutions (the AI Explorers community) nor to act as a helpdesk (day-to-day technical issues stay with IT).
