Our team Within the Financial Advisory department, our Forensic, Compliance and Litigation team brings together three specializations: Investigation: internal investigations into cases of proven or suspected fraud, embezzlement, abusive professional expenses, conflicts of interest, moral harassment, etc. Litigation: assessment of financial loss within the framework of judicial or arbitration proceedings. Damage assessment, analysis of financial operations, post-acquisition disputes, mediation. We build counterfactual scenarios to model the situation in which the claimant would have found themselves in the absence of the generating event (loss of operating profit, anti-competitive practice, etc.). Compliance: design and assessment of robust compliance programs in accordance with the requirements of the Sapin 2 law and the recommendations of the Agence Française Anticorruption (AFA), any applicable foreign regulations (UKBA, FCPA, etc.), and best practices.
In order to strengthen our teams, we are looking for consultants in Investigations and Litigation with an accounting specialization.
Your main missions Our clients are both mid-sized companies (ETI) and large multinational groups, based in France and internationally, and are primarily active in services and industry. You will intervene in sensitive litigation matters with significant financial stakes, in direct interaction with legal departments, lawyers, and authorities. You will contribute to Investigation and Litigation missions: Critical analysis of financial and accounting data, review of documents and emails, preparation and conducting of investigative interviews. Damage assessment within the framework of litigation and judicial expertise: accounting and financial analyses, financial modeling, understanding the economic context and business characteristics. Drafting of investigation and financial expertise reports (preparing supporting documents, exhibits, and appendices). Reporting to clients.
In addition, you will contribute to the business development of the Forensic practice by participating in the drafting of commercial proposals, publications, and responding to calls for tender. Depending on the missions, you may be required to work on Compliance missions.
You have: A Master's degree (Bac+5) from an engineering school, business school, or equivalent, with an accounting or financial specialization. More than 2 years of professional experience in investigations or litigation. Excellent analytical (accounting and financial) and writing skills. A relevant degree is an advantage, such as DSCG or DEC. Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau would be an advantage. Expected qualities: synthesis skills, analytical mindset, rigor, curiosity, initiative, team spirit, organizational skills. Professional level English is essential. Proficiency in other languages is an advantage. Mastery of AI tools and data analytics tools is a plus.
