The Financial Advisory Services department of Mazars brings together all the financial expertise necessary to support our clients in their strategic operations: Acquisition and divestiture Due Diligence, Litigation support, Forensic Investigation Evaluation, Corporate Finance, Restructuring, Modélisation. Our team intervenes when our clients are faced with sensitive situations to help them understand and document the facts at issue, quantify their impact and, if necessary, explain them to the competent authorities: Internal investigations into suspected or proven cases of fraud: financial fraud, corruption, misuse of corporate assets, unfair competition, market abuse, ethical alerts and harassment, money laundering, regulatory infractions, etc... Financial expertise in the context of litigation or arbitration: damage assessment, asset valuation, analysis of financial operations, post-acquisition disputes, mediation. You will be integrated into a versatile team and will work on various types of files, in diverse sectors, for both large groups and mid-cap companies, in France or internationally. You will participate in strengthening professional integrity at our clients by helping them respond to complex situations, sometimes in crisis management mode. Your main missions: As part of the development of its activities, the Forensic Investigation and Litigation practice of Mazars is looking for experienced managers. Your missions will include all of the following tasks: Conduct all investigation work: analysis of financial data, accounting analyses, review of documents and emails, preparation of interviews, etc. Perform background checks on third parties to identify various reputation, compliance, and integrity risks. Evaluate damages in the context of litigation and judicial expertise: accounting and financial analyses, financial modélisations, understanding the economic context and business characteristics. Cooperate with our clients' lawyers (depending on the case: working in pairs, strategic discussions, preparation for hearings). Collaborate with foreign offices during the conduct of international investigations and coordinate the work. Draft investigation reports that may be produced in court or expert reports that will be defended before national jurisdictions or international arbitral tribunals. Conduct the mission on an operational level and develop the skills of junior consultants. Define the appropriate strategic and methodological approach for each mission, in collaboration with the partners. Prepare service proposals and responses to calls for tenders.

Holding a Master's degree (Bac+5) from a top-tier engineering school, business school, or university, you have ideally completed this curriculum with an accounting specialization. The DSCG, the CFE, or a double degree in law would be a plus. You have at least 5 years of professional experience, ideally in a firm (valuation, restructuring, audit), in a bank (general inspection), or in a company (internal audit, finance functions). You have strong analytical skills and are comfortable with numbers and financial information. You have very good writing skills. You have a critical mind, are intellectually curious, and particularly rigorous. You are able to work both independently and as part of a team. You are proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. You have an appetite for new technological tools. Fluency in written and spoken English is necessary. The position is located in Levallois-Perret. Certain missions require occasional travel in France or abroad.
