Electronics Procurement Specialist required for a technology company

A leading technology company is looking for an Electronics Procurement Specialist for a central role in the procurement system, involving the management of procurement processes for electronic components, working with suppliers locally and abroad, and regular interfaces with the engineering, operations, production, and logistics departments.

Responsibilities:

• Managing procurement processes for electronic components according to the company's needs.
• Sourcing, evaluating, and managing suppliers locally and abroad.
• Receiving price quotes, conducting negotiations, and monitoring commercial terms.
• Executing purchase orders and monitoring deliveries, quantities, and schedules.
• Managing inventory and stock levels according to forecasts and operational needs.
• Regular work with engineering, development, production, quality, and logistics departments.
• Handling supply discrepancies, shortages, and issues with suppliers.
• Sourcing alternative procurement sources and improving procurement costs.
• Cost analysis and performing price comparisons between suppliers.
• Managing and monitoring supplier data, prices, and lead times in the ERP system.
• Supporting NPI processes and the transition of products from development to production regarding procurement aspects.
• Working with suppliers in the electronic components field such as boards, PCB components, connectors, cables, active and passive components, and more.

Job Requirements:

• At least 2–3 years of experience in a procurement specialist role – Mandatory.
• Experience in electronic component procurement – Significant advantage.
• Experience working with suppliers locally and abroad.
• Very good English level – reading, writing, and speaking.
• Experience working with an ERP system – Mandatory; Priority – Advantage.
• Negotiation skills and commercial understanding.
• Ability to work with multiple interfaces and in a dynamic environment.
• Orderliness, organization, attention to detail, and high follow-up ability.
• Ability to work independently alongside teamwork.
• Technical orientation and understanding of specifications and engineering requirements – Significant advantage.
