Your tasks

The Services required are set out as follows

1. Lead AV setup and operation for events, assemblies, performances and rehearsals.

1. Operate sound and lighting systems and train teachers and students to use AV equipment.

1. Oversee installation, operation and maintenance of projectors, interactive displays and sound systems across school venues.

1. Conduct termly preventive-maintenance checks and promptly troubleshoot hardware faults.

1. Manage the Public Address system for morning assemblies and events.

1. Provide photography and videography support, schedule digital-signage content and perform other assigned AV duties.

Requirements

• Higher Nitec in Audio-Visual Technology, Media Production or a related field is preferred.
• At least two years of hands-on experience with auditorium sound and lighting systems is preferred.

• Proficiency in digital audio mixers, wireless microphones and stage-lighting controllers is preferred.
• Troubleshooting skills for projectors, interactive displays, digital signage and PA systems are preferred.

• Digital photography, videography and editing skills are preferred.
• Communication skills for training staff and mentoring students, and flexibility to support events outside regular hours, are preferred.

Other

Contract Period: 1 January 2027, or the date confirmed after the Letter of Acceptance, whichever is later, to 31 December 2027.

Option period: 1 January 2028 to 30 June 2028. The tender indicates a tentative move to 21 Champions Way from 2028; the 2027 workplace is 3 Yishun Ring Road.

Personnel to be deployed at the following hours

• Mondays to Thursdays: 7:30am to 5:00pm; Fridays: 7:30am to 4:30pm. Each day includes a one-hour lunch break (42 working hours per week).
• Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays; start and end times may be adjusted by mutual agreement for college needs.
