Your tasks

The Services required are set out as follows

1. Work with teachers to prepare resources in advance for lessons and Science activities, including CCAs; help purchase materials when needed.

1. Organise and maintain inventory and ensure supplies are adequately stocked.

1. Maintain the cleanliness of the two Science Rooms and regularly check that equipment is in working order.

1. Assist with experiments, recycling programmes, enrichment activities and other Science activities.

1. Support planting at the plant plots, green wall near the rainwater harvesting tank and glass enclosure.

1. Perform General Office duties, including answering calls, manning the counter, filing and distributing school materials.

1. Carry out other relevant duties assigned by the Teacher-in-Charge, Level Head, Head of Department or reporting officer.

Requirements

• At least GCE O-Level qualification.

• Good knowledge of Science apparatus and equipment.

• Good communication and writing skills for supporting teachers and handling school administration.

• Some gardening experience.

• Ability to prioritise duties and work effectively during busy periods, with a professional approach to colleagues and visitors.

Other

Contract Period: 1 January 2027 to 31 December 2027, excluding 29 May to 27 June 2027 and 1 to 31 December 2027.

Option period: Up to a further 24 months in 2028 and 2029, exercisable in whole or in phases. Two months of school holidays are excluded each year; exact exclusion dates will be provided before each option is exercised.

Personnel to be deployed at the following hours

• Mondays to Fridays: 7:30am to 2:00pm for Science Laboratory duties, inclusive of a 30-minute lunch break; 2:00pm to 4:30pm for administrative duties.

• No service required on Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays or scheduled school holidays, including Youth Day, the day after National Day, Teachers' Day and Children's Day.
