About MaxForm
MaxForm: Speed & Strength Specialists helps athletes get faster, stronger and more explosive. We run Speed, Strength, and Track & Field (sprints, long jump, high jump) classes for kids, youth and adults, from young athletes starting out to national and professional athletes.
Who you'll coach
- Kids (8–12), youth (12–16) and adults in group and private classes
- Adult athletes, including competitive and elite level
- Athletes from a wide range of sports: football, rugby, basketball, track, tennis, netball and more
What you'll do
- Plan and run speed and agility sessions
- Plan and run strength and conditioning sessions, teaching safe, correct lifting technique
- Adapt sessions to different ages, abilities and sports
- Track athlete progress and give feedback to athletes and parents
- Help with basic gym admin: scheduling, attendance, equipment care and keeping the space safe and tidy
What we're looking for
- A real passion for coaching, and the drive to keep learning and growing
- A sporting background (e.g. rugby, basketball, football, track)
- A strength and conditioning certification or related qualification (e.g. Diploma in Sports and Exercise Science)
- Comfortable coaching kids and youth: patient, energetic, and able to keep a group engaged and safe
- Clear communicator with athletes and parents
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and in a team
- High availability throughout the week
Good to have
- Experience competing in sport
- Experience coaching sprints or jumps
- Valid First Aid / CPR + AED certification (or willing to get one)
- Prior coaching experience, especially with youth athletes
