MF Developer
Who are we?
The authorizations and blocks development team at MAX is a central and critical team for the company's ongoing operations, responsible for the development and maintenance of infrastructure applications in an MF environment. We are a team of about 6 developers, working in a family atmosphere, with collaboration and mutual support, and in constant interface with systems analysts and software testers.
What are we looking for?
An MF Developer who will join the team and take responsibility for the development stage in projects, while working jointly with systems analysts and software testers. As part of the role, you will be engaged in development and maintenance in an MF environment and organizational infrastructure interfaces, alongside monitoring activities and integration into the ongoing activities of the authorizations team.
What is important to us?
- Experience in COBOL development in an MF environment - Mandatory
- Experience in CICS development - Mandatory
- Experience in DB2 development - Advantage
- Experience working with VSAM files - Advantage
- High technical and analytical abilities and the ability to learn independently
- Excellent ability to work with interfaces
- High level of English
The role is also suitable for candidates with initial experience and familiarity with the content domains - an excellent opportunity to learn, develop, and gain experience in an MF environment.
Besides that...
Availability for on-call shifts at night and on weekends is required as needed, with the possibility of flexibility. A bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a relevant field will be a significant advantage.
