Your tasks
We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Accountant M/F to ensure the accounting follow-up and collection of our international customer accounts, in connection with our subsidiaries.
You will also manage the general accounting of our American subsidiary, in connection with our local accounting firm and the Group Accounting Manager.
On a daily basis, you will notably be required to
- Ensure the management of accounts receivable: monitoring and analysis of accounts, entry of payments, reconciliation, processing of unpaid invoices, and participation in month-end closings;
- Implement the customer collection policy: perform written and telephone reminders, analyze and monitor the aging balance, ensure reporting to Management, manage potential disputes, and prepare litigation files;
- Monitor outstanding balances and customer risk, in connection with the sales teams and our credit insurer: Monitor invoicing and outstanding amounts, ensure the blocking and unblocking of accounts and orders, alert in case of risky situations, and prepare files for the credit committee;
- Support internal teams and customers in finding solutions to secure collections while preserving the commercial relationship;
- Ensure the accounting follow-up of our American subsidiary: entry of transactions, preparation of payments, bank reconciliations, tax entries, monthly closings, and monitoring of customer debt collection, in connection with the local accounting firm;
- Ensure compliance with accounts receivable procedures and best practices and contribute to their improvement.
Requirements
With a background in accounting, you have proven successful experience in accounts receivable and collection.
You are comfortable with IT tools and proficient in the Microsoft 365 suite. Knowledge of an ERP, ideally Sage X3, as well as collection software such as My DSO, would be appreciated.
Given the international dimension of the position, you possess professional English. Proficiency in another language (Spanish or German) is a plus.
Rigorous, organized, and autonomous, you know how to manage priorities and meet deadlines. Your team spirit, listening skills, and adaptability, as well as your strong interpersonal skills, will allow you to interact effectively with both customers and the various departments of the company.
How to apply
We will be happy to receive your application, accompanying your CV if possible with details regarding your availability, salary, and motivations.
