Marine Surveyor
Job Summary Matthews-Daniel International is seeking a Marine Surveyor to conduct marine warranty and general marine surveys, prepare technical reports, and provide professional advice to clients. The role involves working on marine and offshore projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and delivering high-quality surveying services while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and client satisfaction. Responsibilities Conduct marine warranty and general marine surveys following project requirements and company standards Complete survey assignments on time while ensuring high client satisfaction Prepare accurate, professional survey reports within agreed deadlines Ensure adherence to professional, commercial, ethical, and quality management standards Maintain comprehensive survey records and technical documentation Provide technical recommendations and solutions to support project objectives Maintain daily timesheets, project records, and expense reports accurately Represent the company professionally during all survey activities Required competencies and certifications Class 1 or Class 2 Deck Certificate or a Degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline Preferred competencies and qualifications Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the marine industry Experience in marine surveying, vessel operations, offshore projects, or marine engineering Experience in Marine Warranty Survey (MWS) activities Experience within the Offshore Oil & Gas industry
