Sourcing and procurement Manager

Position Summary Lead company-wide sourcing, procurement, and supplier development activities to establish and maintain a competitive, capable, and resilient supplier base. The role manages sourcing strategies, supplier evaluation and development, localization, commercial negotiations, and procurement execution across local and foreign sourcing, ensuring the timely and cost-effective availability of materials, components, products, and other required categories in line with the MATGR’s cost, quality, capacity, delivery, technical, and supply continuity requirements.

Key Responsibilities Sourcing & Supplier Strategy Develop and implement sourcing strategies for key materials, components, products, and strategic supply categories.

Identify, evaluate, and qualify potential suppliers based on capability, capacity, cost, quality, delivery, technical requirements, and strategic fit.

Lead supplier selection and sourcing decisions within approved authority and Company policies.

Conduct market and supplier analysis to identify alternative sources, cost improvement opportunities, and supply continuity options.

Supplier Development & Localization Lead strategic supplier development initiatives to improve supplier capability, quality, capacity, delivery, cost, and technical performance.

Establish supplier development plans for strategic and critical suppliers and monitor implementation.

Identify opportunities for local manufacturing, supplier localization, and local value creation.

Monitor strategic supplier risks, dependencies, capacity constraints, and continuity of supply, and develop mitigation actions.

Procurement Management Establish and manage procurement processes for local and foreign purchases.

Translate approved sourcing strategies and supply requirements into procurement activities and purchase orders.

Monitor purchase requisitions, purchase orders, supplier confirmations, and delivery commitments.

Ensure purchases are made in accordance with approved specifications, sourcing decisions, commercial terms, budgets, and authorization requirements.

Coordinate with Supply Chain Planning to prioritize urgent, critical, and production-related requirements.

Monitor procurement cycle times, overdue purchase orders, and supplier delivery performance.

Commercial Management Lead strategic supplier negotiations within approved authority and ensure competitive commercial terms.

Monitor supplier pricing, payment terms, lead times, minimum order quantities, and other commercial conditions.

Identify and implement opportunities for cost reduction and commercial improvement.

Coordinate with Finance regarding payment terms, supplier accounts, and other procurement-related financial matters.

Governance & Performance Ensure compliance with Company procurement policies, approval authorities, sourcing procedures, and documentation requirements.

Maintain accurate supplier, sourcing, and procurement records.

Establish and monitor sourcing, supplier development, and procurement KPIs.

Prepare regular reports on sourcing performance, supplier risks, cost improvement, localization, procurement cycle times, and supply issues.

Team Leadership Lead, develop, and manage the Sourcing & Procurement team.

Build team capabilities in strategic sourcing, supplier management, negotiation, procurement, and supplier development.

Promote disciplined procurement practices and effective cross-functional collaboration.

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field .

10+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supplier management, preferably in manufacturing, automotive, or engineering , with at least 5 years of managerial experience .

Strong experience in strategic sourcing, supplier development, negotiations, and cost reduction .

Experience managing local and foreign suppliers and ensuring supply continuity.

Good knowledge of procurement processes, commercial terms, and supplier evaluation .

Strong leadership, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills .

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/procurement systems .

Fluent English is required.
