Product Development and Sourcing Specialist - Remote Latam

About the opportunity

We are a growing international company and we are looking for a Product Development and Sourcing Specialist with experience in the development and production of physical products to lead projects in Latin America.

This position will be responsible for managing the complete product development cycle, from sourcing and negotiating with suppliers to mass production, quality control, and final delivery, ensuring high quality standards, competitive costs, and compliance with timelines.

Responsibilities

• Manage the integral development of physical products.
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and manufacturers in Latin America.
• Coordinate the sourcing process and supplier selection.
• Supervise the development of samples and prototypes.
• Coordinate mass production ensuring quality, costs, and delivery times.
• Follow up on quality control during all production stages.
• Work closely with suppliers to resolve incidents and optimize processes.
• Coordinate the logistics and delivery of finished products.
• Maintain solid commercial relationships with manufacturers and strategic partners.
• Seek continuous improvement opportunities in costs, processes, and quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Administration, International Business, Trade, Supply Chain, or related fields.
• Experience in physical product development, manufacturing, or consumer goods.
• Experience in sourcing, purchasing, or supplier management.
• Knowledge of the manufacturing and production process.
• Experience negotiating with manufacturers and suppliers.
• Knowledge in quality control and production management.
• Advanced English (indispensable).
• Excellent organization, negotiation, and communication skills.
