- Develop and execute the company’s overall financial strategy in alignment with business objectives.
- Lead Finance, Accounting, Treasury, Tax, and Financial Planning functions.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and cash flow management.
- Monitor project profitability, costs, financial performance, and working capital.
- Oversee project accounting, contractors’ accounts, suppliers, client receivables, and payment certificates.
- Manage banking relationships, financing facilities, and cash management.
- Ensure effective financial controls, risk management, governance, and compliance.
- Lead the preparation of accurate financial statements and management reports.
- Provide the Board and Senior Management with strategic financial insights and recommendations.
- Evaluate major projects, investments, and business opportunities from a financial perspective.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team while improving financial processes and systems.
- 15+ years of progressive experience in Finance & Accounting.
- Proven senior leadership experience, preferably within the Construction / Contracting industry.
- Strong expertise in Project Finance, Cost Control, Cash Flow Management, Budgeting & Forecasting.
- Solid experience in banking, financing, taxation, auditing, and financial risk management.
- Strong understanding of construction project accounting and profitability analysis.
- Excellent leadership, analytical, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as CMA, CPA, ACCA is highly preferred.
- Strong command of English and advanced Excel/ERP systems.
