Community Development Officer (1-year Contract)

Are you passionate about serving the community, building meaningful connections and creating programmes that bring people together? Darul Ghufran mosque is looking for a motivated and people-oriented individual to join our team as a Community Development Officer. Key Responsibilities Build and maintain partnerships with community organisations, agencies and stakeholders

Plan and coordinate community programmes and collaborative initiatives

Conduct outreach to residents and different segments of the community

Identify community needs and opportunities for meaningful engagement

Prepare programme proposals, reports and presentations

Provide administrative and operational support for mosque programmes and activities

Education & Experience Minimum Diploma or Degree in a relevant discipline

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Good planning, coordination and organisational skills

Experience in community work, social service, non-profit or mosque setting is an advantage
