Employment Lawyer (M/F)
MASALEX CONSEIL is an HR consulting and recruitment firm specializing in the legal and tertiary sectors.
A former legal professional, after 19 years of experience in national and international recruitment firms, I now manage my own firm, for positions between Monaco and the rest of France.
The position:
As part of the development of its Employment Law team, a leading international business law firm is looking for a lawyer with 5 to 7 years of experience to join its Paris office.
Within a human-sized team and in a resolutely international environment, you will work autonomously on high-stakes cases for a client base composed of French and international groups.
Your practice will be particularly varied and will cover all employment law issues, with a balance between advisory, litigation, and support for corporate operations.
You will specifically intervene on:
- individual issues: recruitment, mobility, dismissals, negotiation of departures and settlements;
- collective issues: relations with staff representatives, negotiation and drafting of collective agreements;
- restructurings, reorganizations and job protection plans (PSE);
- employment law aspects related to corporate operations, M&A and reorganizations;
- individual and collective litigation;
- internal investigations and sensitive social issues.
You will be in direct contact with clients and will be expected to take charge of your files with a high level of autonomy, while working in close collaboration with partners and other teams within the firm, particularly on cross-functional and international matters.
Profile sought:
Holding the CAPA and a Master 2 in employment law, you have 5 to 7 years of experience as a lawyer, acquired within a recognized French or international business law firm, ideally in an environment comparable to that of an Anglo-Saxon firm.
You possess a comprehensive practice of employment law and are comfortable with both advisory and litigation, as well as the employment aspects of corporate operations.
Autonomous, rigorous, and possessing excellent interpersonal skills, you appreciate demanding and international environments and know how to establish a relationship of trust with your clients.
Given the international dimension of the practice, an excellent level of professional English, both written and spoken, is indispensable.
Additional training in a business school, at Sciences Po, or an LLM constitutes an asset.
