PROJECT ENGINEER (SENIOR PRODUCTION PLANNER) IDEALLY TEXTILE
6 TO 8 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN A SIMILAR POSITION AND IDEALLY IN TEXTILE PRODUCTION
OBJECTIVES:
- Guarantee the successful delivery of projects on time and in form based on the delivery deadlines established with the client.
- Ensure the delivery of products in accordance with quality standards.
- Identify, anticipate, and mitigate risks regarding project delivery dates; promoting proactive, self-sufficient management focused on effective decision-making.
- Ensure efficient management of the organization's resources, complying with the budget and optimizing profitability through strategic cost negotiation and improvement of operational processes.
REQUIRED PROFILE:
- Experience: +8 Years in similar roles and in management of garment projects, reprocessing, and materials logistics.
- Education: Engineer, Textile, Chemical, Industrial, or related careers.
- Experience in the textile sector (preferred).
- Experience in bidding (preferred).
- Knowledge of quality control processes and textile standards (technical sheets, tech pack, PP sample, client catalog).
- Availability to travel 1 time per week outside the metropolitan area.
TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE:
- ERP: SAP Intermediate - advanced
- Excel intermediate - advanced.
- Language: English intermediate - advanced
- Negotiation skills
- Project management (planning, execution, and control)
- Reverse logistics
- Management of non-conformities and corrective actions.
- Continuous improvement.
- Interpretation of technical specifications (Tech Pack, technical sheets, etc.)
