Production Operations and Logistics Manager IDEALLY IN the textile and maquila sector.

  • Experience: +7 years in similar roles leading operations, production, and/or logistics.
  • Experience in industries such as textile, footwear, or related manufacturing.
  • Experience managing international operations (desirable).
  • Availability for international travel and visiting the local plant once a week.

Technical Knowledge

  • Production planning and control.
  • Productivity indicators (input/output).
  • Supply chain and logistics management.
  • Quality control in manufacturing processes.
  • SAP (intermediate-advanced level).
  • Advanced Excel.
  • Languages: ADVANCED conversational English (interaction with international suppliers)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic production planning

  • Design and execute production planning aligned with demand and operational capacity.
  • Evaluate the feasibility and profitability of production projects.
  • Define priorities, workloads, and resource allocation.
  • Build and manage the master production plan for all projects.

Integral manufacturing management

  • Coordinate operations both in the owned plant in Mexico and in international partner plants (United States, Europe, Asia, etc.).
  • Supervise the complete production cycle (cutting, sewing, finishing). Maintain total visibility of actual production progress.
  • Ensure compliance with times and productive efficiency.

Production control and monitoring

  • Follow up on the production balance (actual vs. projected).
  • Analyze productivity indicators (weekly input/output).
  • Detect deviations and implement corrective actions.

Quality management

  • Guarantee quality standards at all stages: before, during, and after production.
  • Ensure that products meet technical specifications until final delivery.
  • Implement controls and continuous improvement processes.

Logistics and delivery

  • Coordinate the distribution and delivery logistics of finished products.
  • Manage logistics providers.
  • Ensure compliance with delivery times, quality, and service levels.

6. Resource and team management

  • Administer human and material resources of the area.
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams (quality, logistics, demand planning).
  • Develop talent and strengthen the team's operational capabilities.

7. Area construction and optimization

  • Design and implement operational processes from scratch.
  • Establish KPIs and control mechanisms.
  • Identify improvement opportunities to maximize efficiency and reduce costs.
