Bilingual Purchasing and Inventory Manager - National and International Purchasing

BILINGUAL NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL PURCHASING AND INVENTORY MANAGER

• Experience: +5 years in similar roles in purchasing and/or inventory management.
• Experience in comprehensive management of the purchasing flow and stock control.
• Desirable experience in industries such as textile, footwear, or manufacturing.

Technical Knowledge

• ABC purchasing operational flow.
• Inventory management (minimums, maximums, rotation).
• Negotiation with suppliers.
• Payment administration and reconciliations.
• SAP (intermediate-advanced level).
• Languages: conversational English (interaction with international suppliers)

RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic purchasing management

• Execute and ensure compliance with the purchasing plan aligned with production projects and established timelines.
• Manage and develop the existing supplier portfolio (evaluation, negotiation, loyalty).
• Guarantee the acquisition of materials complying with technical specifications and quality standards.
• Participate in cost negotiation together with key stakeholders (Luis Páramo and Javier).

Purchasing process administration

• Manage the complete operational purchasing flow (ABC model).
• Supervise internal processes, purchase orders, follow-up, and administrative control.
• Responsible for the supplier payment flow in coordination with finance.
• Perform reconciliations and balance control with suppliers.

Inventory management and control

• Lead the total administration of inventories, ensuring accuracy and control (zero deviations physical vs. system).
• Define and manage inventory policies (minimums, maximums, and reorder points).
• Implement automation processes and continuous improvement in inventory control.
• Supervise stock, holds, and movements.

Automation, Optimization, and inventory rotation

• Automate inventory to allow updates in a timely and proper manner.
• Work together with the commercial team to drive inventory rotation.
• Monitor inventory movement and avoid obsolescence.
• Align inventory strategies with commercial and operational objectives.

Transversal coordination

• Coordinate with Supply Chain and Production to guarantee compliance with times, quality, and supply.
• Ensure correct synchronization between purchasing, inventories, and business demands.
• Identify improvement opportunities to maximize efficiency and reduce costs.
