Head of Industrial Insurance, Focus on Liability (Field and Office Service) (m/f/d)

The position is equipped with Prokura. In the long term, integration into the management of the brokerage house is planned as part of a succession arrangement.

Tasks

You will lead the liability area for industrial customers and be responsible for the further success of this division. At the same time, you will lead the HUK office service team with a special focus on industrial liability.

• Sales and technical responsibility for the liability, accident, and KFZ-Flotten divisions with a special focus on industrial liability insurance
• Technical and disciplinary leadership of the employees in the office service
• Support of key account customers with the assistance of the specialist department
• Acquisition and establishment of new customer relationships with a focus on industrial liability insurance
• Placement and handling of international liability programs
• Representation of the management during annual customer meetings
• Development and responsibility for the renewal strategy (liability, KFZ-Flotten)
• Support and targeted assistance to customers in the event of large claims

Qualification

• Training as a Kaufmann:frau für Versicherungen und Finanzanlagen (IHK) plus industry-specific further qualification, alternatively a business administration or legal degree with a focus on insurance
• Several years of professional experience in commercial and industrial liability insurance at a brokerage house or insurer, combined with high technical expertise
• Solid knowledge in the Gruppenunfall and Kfz-Flotten divisions
• Sales experience in insurance field service with demonstrable success
• Leadership experience desirable
• Strategic-conceptual and entrepreneurial competence
• Good English skills
