Accountant

Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Maintain the general ledger and ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded.

Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.

Prepare and file statutory returns, including VAT, PAYE, WHT, and other regulatory requirements.

Monitor cash flow, budgets, and expenditure to ensure financial efficiency.

Assist with payroll processing and related reconciliations.

Support internal and external audit activities.

Ensure compliance with financial policies, accounting standards, and applicable laws.

Generate management reports and provide financial analysis to support business decisions.

Perform other accounting and finance duties as assigned.

Requirements:

ICAN qualification is mandatory (ACA or equivalent).

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

Minimum of 3 years' relevant accounting experience, preferably in a healthcare or corporate environment.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and financial reporting.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
