Quality Inspector Primary Functions:

The primary responsibility of the Quality Inspector is to inspect orthopedic implant materials, components, and finished products to ensure quality expectations of Marle and the customer are met.

Requirements:

Read, interpret, and follow work orders, blueprints, and work instructions, including GD&T.

Perform inspections on parts at different stages of the process using precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, indicators, optical comparators, etc).

Maintain ISO 134852 standards and practices.

Ensure work areas are kept clean and organized.

Education and Experience

High School/GED

1+ years of dimensional insepction in a highly regulated manufacturing environment

Medical device manufacturing preferred.

Additional Job Qualifications

Familiarity with commonly used precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, optical comparator)

Understanding Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Sigma Six, and other Continual Improvement experience is a plus.

Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance (GD&T) preferred

Must be able to handle physical and repetatve work.
