Building Surveyor | Senior to Director Level Colchester / Remote | £55,000 - £90,000+ DOE + Bonus Want a Building Surveying role where your title, remit and package can actually be shaped around you? I’m working with a growing independent multidisciplinary consultancy looking to make a key hire across Building Surveying. This is a rare opportunity for someone who enjoys the technical side of surveying and wants real autonomy, direct influence and scope to grow with the business. What you’ll be doing

  • Produce technical and construction drawings
  • Prepare Building Regulations drawings and submissions
  • Write detailed specifications and schedules of work
  • Take projects from survey and feasibility through design and delivery
  • Work across Building Surveying, Contract Administration and Project Management
  • Build strong client relationships and help shape the service offering

What we’re looking for

  • Strong Building Surveying experience
  • Hands-on technical drawing capability
  • Building Regulations drawing experience
  • Confident specification writing
  • Able to manage projects independently
  • CAD experience highly desirable
  • MRICS or MCIOB welcomed, but not essential

Package & flexibility

  • £55,000 - £85,000+ depending on experience
  • Bonus / profit-sharing opportunity
  • Predominantly remote working
