Executive, Material Planning

Maintain inventory to ensure paper stock availability for common items.

Work with superior to assess and conduct regular reviews of slow-moving and unused paper stocks and consumables to optimize inventory levels.

Partner with the Sales team to recommend alternative paper brands to minimize slow-moving inventory.

Coordinate with third-party paper converters for the conversion of paper rolls into sheet stock.

Work closely with the Purchasing team to manage stock levels and replenishment of packaging materials and consumables.

Participate in daily production planning and monthly forecasting meetings to ensure adequate paper / material availability.

Raise material requests through the ERP system.

Support cycle counts, physical inventory exercises, and stock variance reconciliation activities.

Maintain knowledge of production supply processes, including forecasting, inventory management, store ordering, operational requirements, and seasonal planning.

Review and understand Safety Data Sheets (SDS) to ensure the safe handling and use of chemicals.

Perform any other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Requirements: Diploma in any discipline or equivalent qualification.

At least 3 years of relevant experience in material planning and inventory management.

Experience in demand forecasting and supply planning to meet business objectives.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
