ultrasound technologist

MDC is looking for a skilled and certified full or part time Ultrasound Technologist(s) who will be responsible to perform general ultrasounds: MSK, ABD, OB/GYN, NT, Breast, Thyroid, Small Parts, vascular studies

• NT certification preferred
• Vascular
• Must be a registered member in good standing of CMRITO
• Must be registered with ARDMS and/or Sonography Canada
• Liability insurance is required
• Current CPR certificate is an asset

Responsibilities:

• ensure all quality control assessments are performed as required.
• greet patient, ensure patient identification, explain test, prepare and position patient for examination, obtain patient medical history
• responsible for care and safety of patients within the department
• maintain patient confidentiality
• prepare adequate written and/or electronic reports to document all procedures and test results

• have a cheerful, positive attitude. Ability to work with others as well as independently. Treat everyone with respect, dignity and kindness.
• ability to speak another language an asset

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $40.00 per hour
