At Vadsbogymnasiet in Mariestad, eleven national programs are offered, both university preparatory and vocational preparatory. There is also sports specialization, young entrepreneurship, and program certifications. The school currently has over 700 students and approximately 75 educators. Here, we work together in program work teams, close to the principal and the various professions of student health.

We are now seeking a teacher in English and French. The position involves a full-time substitute position for at most until June 2027.

DUTIES

As a teacher in English and French at Vadsbogymnasiet, you are responsible for the planning, implementation, and evaluation of teaching for students from both university preparatory programs and preparatory study programs.

QUALIFICATIONS

To be eligible for the position, we are primarily seeking those who have teaching certification and experience in teaching English and French at the upper secondary level. You who have worked as a teacher or substitute, mentor, or in another role where you have had the opportunity to guide, support, and motivate young people towards set goals are also welcome to apply.

We are looking for you who are secure both in your personality and in your teaching role and who always put the student's needs at the center. You are an engaged teacher with a genuine interest in your subjects and have an understanding that good relationships with students are an important foundation for the student's learning. It is important that you have the ability and the will to create motivation, enthusiasm, and energy in your students. You can work independently while seeing the benefit of working together with your teaching colleagues as well as other professions in the school to develop the teaching and the program, as well as to create good conditions for the students to reach their goals.
