Data & Analytics Manager
About the Project The Data & Analytics Management team oversees the collection, administration, and control of critical data supporting various business lines within a global leading financial institution. As part of this department, the Analytics Integrity team ensures the quality and support of position, transaction, and computed data across major systems. The team operates globally, working closely with the Data Referential and Governance divisions to provide seamless data integrity for liquid, derivative, and alternative investment assets. The successful candidate will be an experienced manager driving process improvements with a collaborative management style and the ability to create a positive team environment. Responsibilities Ensure the accurate integration of data from various referential and external sources into downstream systems, guaranteeing high levels of data quality and consistency. Implement and perform first-level database controls, proactively initiating or amending processes to optimize data accuracy and operational efficiency. Develop a deep understanding of complex transformations and computations applied to generate all computed data within the firm's systems. Provide high-quality support to end-users, responding to requests from data users and project teams autonomously. Work closely with Data Referential, IT, and Data Governance teams to resolve transversal data issues and ensure end-to-end data consistency. Identify data issues, analyze their potential impacts and risks, and propose effective solutions to stakeholders. Collaborate with major service providers (e.g., Blackrock, State Street) and participate in governance meetings to track and resolve critical data topics. Contribute subject matter expertise in operational processes and data modeling to support various IT and Business project teams. Ensure any deviation from standard operating models is formally agreed upon internally and well documented. πOptional Requirements Degree qualified in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
Daily tasks

Requirements

Data Analysis Finance / Asset Management (5+ years) English C1 Operational Data Aladdin / Adjuto π Nice to Have Business / Finance Degree Risk Management π― Requirements At least 5 years of experience in Finance (ideally asset management), including significant experience in operational roles (Data, IT, front, middle or back office). Thorough understanding of operational processes and the usage of major data users (portfolio management, middle office, risk, quant, compliance, financial controllers). Hands-on application experience with Aladdin or Adjuto . Autonomous approach to analyzing and solving complex requests from end-users (working beyond Standard Operating Procedures). Ability to understand data in-flows and out-flows, technical architecture, and business transformations applied to data. Excellent written and verbal communication in English ; ability to liaise with multiple internal and external parties. Analytical mindset with the ability to perform control checks, investigate discrepancies, and escalate appropriately. Proactive attitude when identifying operational risks and taking necessary initiatives for risk mitigation. Very rigorous approach and strong organizational and interpersonal competencies.
