Margaux is a new kind of footwear brand rooted in friendship, collaboration, and community. Co-founders Sarah Pierson and Alexa Buckley launched Margaux in 2015, setting out to create a modern footwear wardrobe for women on the go, powered by thoughtful design and an innovative approach. Each pair is designed in New York and handmade in Spain, and thoughtfully crafted to withstand the test of time.

Position Overview

Reporting to the VP of Digital, you will guide our day-to-day site operator and work alongside our development, platform and app partners, supporting four businesses — DTC, wholesale, marketplace and retail — that share one digital backbone. This is a foundation-building role: much of the structure is still taking shape, and your first year will be about helping put it in place.

Responsibilities

Build high-caliber site capabilities and customer-facing interactions that elevate overall user engagement.

Track emerging tech trends and e-commerce innovation to spot new feature opportunities for the brand.

Evaluate potential site updates, balancing technical effort against revenue and commercial impact.

Turn high-priority roadmap concepts into polished, user-centric site enhancements.

Track performance metrics against target KPIs, establishing ongoing site optimizations based on quantitative data.

Maintain standard operating procedures across full feature rollouts, from initial scoping to site deployment.

Partner with cross-functional operations leads to streamline team workflows, align on organizational targets, and support internal growth.

Define and execute product strategy, requirement definitions, and release schedules aligned with overall business goals.

Oversee compliance and accessibility identifying the proper process and partners to support

Support and develop the day-to-day site operations, and manage agency and vendor relationships — scope, SLAs, budget and performance.

Qualifications

Proven ability to collaborate strategically with cross-functional partners to achieve shared business outcomes

A passion for digital brand experience and the customer journey

Deep, hands-on Shopify Plus experience (or a comparable enterprise platform) — themes, apps and integrations.

Owned onsite merchandising through seasonal launches and promotional periods, balancing commercial targets against brand and customer experience.

A real CRO track record, backed by fluency in the stack that supports it.

Directed internal or agency developers from business requirements through QA and release.

Brought order to an unstructured request environment — an intake or prioritization process that enabled scale.

Ability to set clear objectives and design strategies that inspire and align the team

Deep understanding and commitment to the industry, staying informed about best practices and trends in both tech and retail
