Technology and Transformation Director

Important company with operations in Cali, in the process of strengthening its technological and digital transformation strategy, is looking for a Technology Director to lead the evolution of a high-complexity industrial and logistics operation.

The position's main challenge will be to transform and digitalize the operation, evolving from a traditional technological support model toward one oriented toward automation, data analytics, artificial intelligence, efficiency, innovation, and business value generation. The role will be responsible for leading the organization's technological and digital transformation strategy, ensuring the availability, security, and evolution of the technological infrastructure and, simultaneously, accelerating the automation, digitalization, and optimization of industrial, logistics, and administrative processes. Main responsibilities

• Design and execute the company's technological strategy, ensuring its alignment with the corporate strategy and business priorities.
• Lead the digital transformation of industrial, logistics, and administrative processes.
• Identify and develop automation opportunities in production and logistics processes.
• Integrate technological solutions with plant, distribution, storage, and supply chain processes.
• Drive initiatives that contribute to improving productivity, traceability, response times, and asset utilization.
• Lead the incorporation of artificial intelligence, advanced analytics, and data-based solutions into relevant business processes.
• Develop analytics capabilities that allow for strengthening decision-making and generating valuable information for the organization.
• Act as a strategic partner to the Presidency and the management team, identifying opportunities where technology, data, and artificial intelligence can generate competitive advantages and measurable business improvements.
• Ensure that technological investments and projects are connected with concrete objectives of profitability, efficiency, productivity, and return on investment (ROI).
• Lead and develop high-performance teams, promoting a culture of innovation, transformation, and business orientation.

Required profile

• Professional in Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
• Desirable specialization or MBA in Digital Transformation, Technology, Innovation, Analytics, Administration, or related areas.
• 15 to 20 years of professional experience, with a significant career in Technology areas.
• Experience leading Technology areas in companies of relevant size and complexity.
• Demonstrated experience in digital transformation and automation, exceeding the traditional scope of IT administration and support.
• Experience leading technological transformation processes in industrial operations, production plants, distribution centers, logistics, or supply chain.
• Ability to connect technological strategy with business objectives and generate measurable results.
• Experience in the implementation of advanced analytics solutions, artificial intelligence, and automation.
• Advanced or bilingual English.
