R&D+i Director (Product Development)

We are looking for an R&D+i (Research, Development, and Innovation) Director who will be the person in charge of comprehensively leading the development of new products and technologies, from the identification of opportunities, research, and formulation, to validation, industrialization, documentation, and market launch. They will be responsible for ensuring that the developed solutions are technically viable, reproducible, competitive, and scalable, managing formulations, raw materials, manufacturing processes, contract manufacturers, and control methods.

Likewise, they will have a strategic role as an articulator between Management, Commercial, Operations, Quality, suppliers, contract manufacturers, and technological allies, converting business needs into technical solutions with potential for implementation and growth. Responsibilities: Lead the organization's research, development, and innovation strategy. Formulate and develop new products ensuring their technical and commercial viability. Supervise and execute technical validation and product scalability processes. Manage the industrialization of new products from conceptualization to large-scale production. Establish and maintain rigorous quality controls throughout the development cycle. Prepare and maintain updated technical documentation related to products and processes. Coordinate and manage relationships with contract manufacturers and strategic suppliers. Articulate efforts with the marketing, production, and quality areas to ensure successful launches. Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement in products and processes.

Requirements: Professional in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Food Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fields. Desirable: Specialization or Master's in materials, polymers, chemistry, innovation, product development, or related areas. Proven experience in applied research, product formulation, and new product development (NPD). Expert knowledge in raw materials, manufacturing processes, technical validation, industrialization, and quality control. Ability to manage contract manufacturers, ensure process scalability, and apply effective control methods. Skill in preparing technical documentation and inter-departmental articulation for the successful launch of products to the market. English: C1
