Maintenance Mechanical Manager (Food Manufacturing)
Manage and supervise the mechanical maintenance team.
Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
Ensure the availability and reliability of production machinery and equipment.
Troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns and ensure timely repairs.
Monitor machine performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
Coordinate maintenance activities with Production and other departments.
Ensure proper maintenance of conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, compressors, packaging machines, and other production equipment.
Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and spare parts requirements.
Support the planning and control of mechanical spare parts and maintenance costs.
Ensure compliance with company safety, hygiene, and food safety requirements.
Participate in equipment installation, commissioning, modification, and improvement projects.
Develop and follow preventive maintenance plans to reduce unplanned downtime.
Train and develop maintenance technicians and ensure proper work practices.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve equipment efficiency and reduce maintenance costs.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
5–8 years of experience in mechanical maintenance as a Mechanical Manager, preferably in the food manufacturing sector .
Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial maintenance role.
Good knowledge of industrial mechanical equipment and maintenance practices.
Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance.
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and food safety requirements is preferred.
Good communication and leadership skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage a maintenance team.
