Growing Custom Lighting Company Seeking an Experienced Operations & Quotation Manager
Your tasks
We are seeking a seasoned, hands-on professional to oversee daily operational activities while also taking an active role in reviewing, preparing, and managing customer quotations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate daily company operations and workflow.
- customer requirements.
- Prepare, review, and manage quotations for custom lighting projects.
- Coordinate with sales, engineering, production, purchasing, and suppliers to ensure projects are properly quoted and executed.
- Follow up on quotations and assist the sales team as required.
- Improve operational procedures, efficiency, and internal communication.
- Provide leadership and support to the operations team.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have strong operational management skills combined with technical and analytical abilities, allowing them to understand custom lighting products, drawings, specifications, materials, and manufacturing requirements and prepare accurate quotations with minimal training.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant experience in operations, estimating, project management, manufacturing, or a related field.
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to understand custom-manufactured products.
- Strong knowledge of costing, pricing, and quotation preparation.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Office.
- Experience in the lighting, architectural products, manufacturing, or hospitality industry is a MUST .
