Supplier Manager - Presencial Aguascalientes

About the role:

• Manages sourcing programs by communicating clear requirements and accountabilities to vendor base, and ensures product meets requirements and delivery dates according to the various business models (Retail, Premium, etc).
• Meets Go-To-Market Calendar and key performance indicators. Manages programs using a 'buyers' mindset by holding vendors accountable for meeting program requirements.
• Mandatory textile industry experience.
• Effectively works with vendor(s) to ensure specific product requirements are met (make, finish, premium). Addresses issues promptly and effectively.
• Ensures vendor plant(s) are adhering to schedules, production processes, quality and terms of engagement.
• Communicates regularly with Product Development/Supply Planning and vendor plants.
• Leads effective price negotiations per program/season placement with vendor plants.
• Plans and manages vendor development of product. Ensures bulk manufacturability of product.
• Manages pre-production activities from dupes to sales samples, in accordance with company and brand/consumer segment standards.
• Ensures vendor plants are adhering to scheduling, production, quality, and TOE commitments. Has ongoing communication with Product Management. This is a onsite role schedule based in our Aguascalientes Office.
• Strong English proficiency is mandatory.
• Candidates must be comfortable communicating in both English and Spanish as team discussions frequently shift between both languages.
• The hiring manager was raised in the U.S. and regularly conducts business bilingually.
• Estimated travel: approximately 20%.
• Travel is primarily within Mexico to visit vendors.
• Likely destinations include Mexico City, Nuevo León, and other vendor locations.
• International travel is not expected.
• Employees receive a company card for travel expenses after joining. Prior to receiving the card, travel arrangements can be made through management.
