Logistics Coordinator (Temporary)

Education: Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Administration, or related field. Language: Intermediate - advanced English Experience: 5 years in logistics, foreign trade, or supply chain. Competencies: Proactive, responsible, organized Tools: Office (SAP desirable)

Job Objective: Coordinate national and international logistics operations, foreign trade, customs, and inventories, ensuring regulatory compliance, cost optimization, and supply chain continuity.

Main responsibilities:

  • Coordinate imports and exports via sea, air, and land.
  • Follow up on shipments, customs clearances, and logistics providers.
  • Manage foreign trade documentation (invoices, pedimentos, NOM, VUCEM, etc.).
  • Control inventories and coordinate urgent spare parts shipments.
  • Prepare and follow up on logistics KPIs, delivery times, inventories, and savings.
  • Negotiate rates with customs agents, freight forwarders, and providers.
  • Manage payments to logistics providers and certifying organisms.
  • Supervise area personnel and ensure achievement of objectives.

Indispensable knowledge:

  • Foreign Trade and Ley Aduanera.
  • Incoterms 2020.
  • Import and customs clearance processes.
  • VUCEM and import NOM.
  • International and national transport.
  • Inventory management and logistics costs.
  • Advanced Excel
