Senior We are looking for a Senior SAP MDG Consultant to participate in an SAP implementation project within a regulated industry environment.
The position will have a key role in the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP Master Data Governance (MDG), ensuring the quality, consistency, traceability, and correct governance of master data.
Main responsibilities:
- Lead the gathering and analysis of requirements related to master data.
- Design and configure processes for creation, modification, extension, blocking, and deletion through Change Requests and approval workflows.
- Configure BRF+, validations, derivations, and routing rules.
- Work with Material, Business Partner, Supplier, and Customer domains.
- Design and maintain data models, attributes, relationships, and hierarchies.
- Define controls and rules to guarantee the quality and consistency of master data.
- Participate in integration and replication processes through Data Replication Framework, IDoc, APIs, services, and middleware.
- Collaborate on strategies for data migration, transformation, validation, and reconciliation.
- Participate in unit testing, SIT, UAT, regression, cutover, go-live, and hypercare.
- Work together with ABAP, Fiori, Integration, Security, Basis, and functional teams.
- Facilitate workshops and design sessions with business and technology stakeholders.
- Prepare functional documentation and train key users and Data Stewards.
Requirements:
- More than 8 years of experience in SAP.
- At least 5 years of experience in SAP MDG.
- Verifiable experience in MDG-M and MDG-BP / Supplier / Customer.
- Experience with Change Requests, workflows, BRF+, validations, derivations, Data Modeling, UI, and Data Replication Framework.
- Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA.
- Experience with IDoc, APIs, services, middleware, migration, and data quality.
- Functional knowledge of MM, BP, and SD, as well as dependencies with PP, QM, EWM, and Finance.
- Experience in Life Sciences, pharmaceutical industry, or regulated manufacturing projects.
- Bachelor's degree or Engineering in Systems, Informatics, Industrial, or a related field.
- Intermediate-advanced English.
Desirable:
- Participation in two or more end-to-end SAP MDG implementations.
- Experience with MDG-F.
- Knowledge of GxP and Computer System Validation.
- SAP MDG Certification.
