Architect Microservices / Event Driven

Location: CDMX Modality: Hybrid Contract: Project-based Salary: $50,000 gross monthly English: B1-B2 Intermediate | Conversational ( working with US teams )

We are looking for an Architect Microservices / Event-Driven with experience in designing enterprise solutions based on Microservices and Event-Driven Architecture. You will be responsible for defining architecture and integration standards, designing scalable, resilient, secure, and high-availability solutions aligned with business needs.

Main responsibilities:

• Design architectures based on Microservices and Event-Driven Architecture.
• Define standards and integration strategies between systems.
• Design solutions for highly complex distributed systems.
• Design and integrate REST, gRPC, and GraphQL APIs.
• Define contracts and API documentation using OpenAPI / Swagger.
• Design Cloud solutions on Azure and/or AWS.
• Define High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR), and Multi-Region architectures.
• Establish guidelines for containerization and deployment using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Manage deployments in Kubernetes using Helm.
• Ensure that solutions comply with security, scalability, resilience, and operational continuity criteria.

Technical requirements:

Indispensable:

• 5 years of experience in solution architecture.
• Microservices Architecture.
• Event-Driven Systems and asynchronous messaging.
• Distributed Systems.
• Experience with Java / Spring Boot, .NET, or Node.js.
• Design and integration of **REST, gRPC, and/or GraphQL APIs.
• OpenAPI / Swagger.
• Cloud: Azure and/or AWS.
• Docker.
• Kubernetes.
• Helm.
• Experience in Multi-Region, DR, and HA architectures.
