Senior Reservoir Engineer Oil & Gas

We are looking for a Senior Reservoir Engineer to join a high-impact international project in the Oil & Gas industry. We are seeking professionals with experience in reservoir simulation, dynamic modeling, and field optimization, who wish to participate in key technical decision-making alongside clients and multidisciplinary teams.

What you will do

• Lead reservoir simulation and dynamic modeling studies.
• Build and calibrate models through History Matching.
• Perform uncertainty analysis and production forecasting.
• Participate in reserve estimations and asset evaluations.
• Design optimization and improved recovery (IOR/EOR) strategies.
• Present technical recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
• Contribute to the development and management of oil and gas fields.

What we are looking for

• Professional in Petroleum Engineering or related fields.
• Between 8 and 12 years of experience in Reservoir Engineering.
• Proven experience in reservoir simulation and dynamic modeling.
• Advanced mastery of INTERSECT.
• Proficiency in ECLIPSE and Petrel.
• Knowledge in History Matching, uncertainty analysis, and reserve estimation.
• Advanced English for interaction with international clients.

It will be a plus if you have experience in

• Python
• OFM
• PipeSim
• SQL
• Power BI

Conditions

• Location: Colombia.
• Temporary assignments in Ecuador.
• Initial 6-month contract with possibility of extension.
• Participation in international projects and direct contact with clients in the Oil & Gas sector.
