Manpower BRETIGNY SUR ORGE is looking for a Hardware Materials Technician (M/F) for its client, a player in the software publishing sector.

Your tasks

  • Assemble prototype hardware systems, including component soldering and elementary component-level repair
  • Support bring-up activities alongside the hardware architect: powering up boards, connecting peripherals, and assisting in problem isolation
  • Assemble and wire prototype enclosures, cable harnesses, and integration benches according to development phase needs
  • Design and manufacture simple mechanical jigs and supports using CAD tools and 3D printing, in support of development and testing activities
  • Support rapid Proof of Concept (PoC) builds on development kits and breadboards when the team needs to validate an idea quickly
  • Support simple product installations at customers or partners: hardware mounting, cable routing and connection, antenna installation, and basic functional checks
  • Rigorously apply installation procedures and documentation, and report any discrepancy or unexpected finding to the engineering team
  • Ensure the daily organization and availability of the hardware development laboratory: tool inventory, component storage, equipment calibration, and general laboratory hygiene
  • Monitor and manage stock by performing inventory

  • Organized and methodical approach: you maintain order, label items, and know where everything is located
  • Proficiency with common laboratory test equipment: oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, signal generators, and power supplies
  • Experience in a development laboratory alongside engineering teams, and not solely in production or repair
