Junior Crushing Plant Supervisor / Metallurgical Engineer / 14x7 / Arequipa (Ref: 109370)

MISSION:

Coordinate crushing operations, batch sampling, sample quartering, and ore feeding to the processing plant. Supervise compliance with operating procedures and safety standards.

FUNCTIONS:

• Coordinate the crushing works assigned to the crushing operators.
• Supervise the correct sampling of stockpile batches complying with the task procedure.
• Organize and assign tasks to crushing operators that fulfill the duties described in the procedures.
• Coordinate with crushing operators the activities that will be carried out during the shift.
• Present daily reports and monthly reports.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Implement process improvements.
• Report unsafe conditions and acts.
• Among other functions inherent to the position requested by the immediate supervisor.

REQUIREMENTS:

• TITLED and REGISTERED professional in Metallurgical Engineering.
• Have a minimum of 1 year of experience in similar positions in a Crushing Plant.
• Experience in supervision of the Crushing Plant production process, according to procedures, standards, and the management system for safety, occupational health, environment, and quality, in order to guarantee process efficiency and compliance with the production program.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Proficiency in English language.
• Availability to work for a service of approximately 1 year with the probability of extending for more time depending on the client's needs.
• Immediate availability to work in Arequipa under a 14x7 system from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
