Senior Electrical Engineer – Project Inspector

ManpowerGroup Greece, on behalf of its client, a leading electricity distribution company, is seeking candidates to staff the position of Electrical Engineer-Project Inspector.

• Location: Athens
• Working days & hours: Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 16:00
• You will report to: Quality Manager

What you will need to do:

Evaluation of suppliers and factories and Quality Control/ Inspection of materials with the aim of ensuring the quality of the materials under procurement.

More specifically:

I. Evaluation/Inspection of suppliers and factories

• Initial Technical evaluation of potential suppliers
• Inspection of candidate supplier factories for inclusion in the Prequalification List (factory equipment, production capacity, processes, and quality control laboratories)

II. Quality control / Inspection of materials

• Monitoring of scheduled Factory Acceptance Tests and Type Tests to check the compliance of materials with specification requirements and international standards,
• Technical evaluation of material test certificates.
• Drafting of an Inspection report with the final conclusion and recommendation for the qualitative acceptance or rejection of the material
• Research and monitoring of technological developments, as well as market developments and international standards, for the purpose of recommending the adaptation or revision of specifications to achieve the best technical and economic results.

Required Qualifications:

What we are looking for:

• University Graduate or Degree holder in the specialty of Electrical Engineer or Electrical and Computer Engineer
• Mandatory previous experience in a corresponding sector for at least 3 years
• Driver's license (Private Car)
• Excellent knowledge of the English language
• Ability to travel outside Attica, within and outside Greece
• Excellent knowledge of computer operation and Microsoft Office software
