Class 2 Dust Cart Driver

Your tasks

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and professional HGV Class 2 Dustcart Driver to join a busy waste collection operation. This is a great opportunity for drivers who enjoy working independently and are looking for regular hours with early finishes.

• Driving a Class 2 refuse collection vehicle on planned collection routes
• Working independently without loaders or driver's mates
• Completing daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
• Ensuring collections are completed safely and efficiently
• Adhering to all driver hours, road transport, and health & safety regulations
• Delivering excellent customer service when interacting with residents and businesses

Requirements

• Valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence
• Valid CPC Qualification Card
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous Class 2 driving experience preferred
• Good geographical knowledge and ability to work independently
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious approach

What we offer

• £18.00 per hour
• Monday to Friday working pattern
• Shift patterns (3am - 12pm) & (12:pm - 9:pm)
• One Saturday per month paid at a premium rate
