Automation Engineer in CDI (M/F)

Manpower CABINET DE RECRUTEMENT D'ANGERS is looking for an Automation Engineer in CDI (M/F) for its client. Within a design office specialized in automation, composed of a team of about ten employees, you will act as the technical referent in PLC and HMI programming. You will contribute to guaranteeing the quality, performance, and consistency of programming standards, while supporting teams in the development of their skills.

Your responsibilities:

Development & programming

• Analyze client specifications
• Identify machine functionalities
• Develop PLC and HMI programs
• Write the associated technical documentation

Equipment commissioning

• Perform adjustments in the workshop
• Control the proper functioning of machines

On-site commissioning at client sites

• Ensure adjustments of complex machines on-site
• Write intervention reports and ensure follow-up
• Present technical specificities to users
• Support the handling of equipment
• Train users

Expertise & technical support

• Provide support to production, commissioning, and after-sales teams
• Train automation engineers on standards and best practices
• Perform feasibility studies and pre-sales estimates

Travel: approximately 20% of the time (France and international)

• Education: Bac+3 to Bac+5 in automation
• Significant experience in a design office

Technical skills

• Mastery of SIEMENS and Allen-Bradley PLCs
• Solid expertise in industrial automation
• Professional English required
