Your tasks
Purpose of the role
- Assemble thermal management heat exchangers ensuring product conforms to drawing and customer requirements, perform production acceptance testing on assembled units using Pneumatic, hydraulic , and flow testing rigs.
- Follow standard operating procedures, work to quality engineering standards, and ensure product safety.
- Read engineering drawings and conduct visual inspection of part prior to assembly and throughout the assembly and test process.
Requirements
Experience required
- Apprentice engineering
- An engineering apprenticeship is desirable, although training will be given.
- 5 year's similar experience in an engineering manufacturing facility.
- Ability to read and interpret Engineering drawings.
- Hydraulic and pneumatic experience desirable
- Ability to operate various inspection and test equipment.
- Good computer skills are desirable, as is a knowledge of the computer systems used (SAP, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Q-Pulse etc).
- Demonstrable ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Good oral and written communication skills are required.
