Industrial Buyer - Technical Parts (M/F)
We are looking for a Mechanical Buyer (M/F), on a CDI contract, for our client specializing in mechatronics. ?Evolve within a technical and demanding industrial environment, where economic performance and product innovation go hand in hand.
The position offers a rich combination of project purchasing, cost optimization during series production, international sourcing, and continuous improvement of supplier performance. The challenges of the position are strategic:
- Maintain the competitiveness of their business by revisiting the supplier panel and searching for new performance levers
- Support the company's transformation by managing the purchasing of associated mechanical parts
- Support a rapidly growing R&D by securing the purchasing of new projects from the development phases (influencing design, securing suppliers with a rigorous selection process).
Your missions:
- Analyze bills of materials and identify cost optimization levers
- Manage complete calls for tender from the drafting of specifications to contracting
- Search for, qualify, and develop a panel of suppliers, particularly internationally
- Negotiate purchasing conditions with the objective of global performance (cost, quality, lead time, risks)
- Secure purchasing during the project phase in collaboration with technical teams
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance and implement improvement plans
- Contribute to cost reduction actions on existing products
- Participate in supplier audits and the management of associated risks
- Support the improvement of purchasing processes and structure best practices
Your purchasing scope: plastic parts, extruded parts, cut parts, machined parts, printed circuit boards, and other associated industrial components, as well as project purchasing. Coming from a technical or purchasing background with a strong industrial dimension, you possess confirmed experience in technical purchasing, ideally in mechanics, plastics, machining, or industrial components. You are used to sourcing technical mechanical parts for large series, with experience ideally acquired in cutting companies.
You master purchasing processes: sourcing, consultation, analysis of offers, negotiation, contracting, supplier monitoring, audit, and risk analysis.
You have already conducted international sourcing actions; experience with suppliers located in China and/or India is essential.
English required for this position.
?Working conditions ?CDI ?Remuneration according to experience: 53-58K euros gross annual.
